I wanted to go as Marie Antoinette for Halloween last year, but my friend got mad at me and told me that was irresponsible and controversial because she was tied to the poverty and death of the people of France. I disagreed with her and we got into a big argument, so I didn’t end up going as that. Do you guys think it’s controversial to dress up as her this year or do you agree with my friend?
