Halloween // Looking for DIY Help

This year I have opted to have my toddler dress as a frog from Over the Garden wall and husband and I as Greg and Wirt.

That being said I have always wanted to craft or hand make pieces of my kiddos costumes or hand make them entirely. I think there is something nostalgic about it and fun for me to do.

I found one I really like if worse comes to worse I can just order it. But I am seeing if anyone has found any cool patterns. to use. Where we live is warm for fall so often times a light jacket is enough.

Costume I love!

I have found the following patterns but wondering if anyone else knows of a good place to find a pattern or tutorial. I do have a sewing machine and I am definitely a novice.
