Halloween // Fangs for vampire costume

i’m planning on being a vampire for halloween and the fangs i’ve bought are basically impossible to stick on. they come with a putty, in which i’ve attempted to place it on my tooth (patted dry, of course) and then stick on, but it falls within seconds. and i’ve also tried placing the putty on the fang itself and attempt to stick it to my dry tooth, but it still won’t work.

is there a particular hack or thing i can do to make it stay? thanks in advance.
