Halloween // Boeing door for Halloween

I'm working on being a boeing door for Halloween. How would you designing this?

I'm thinking of shaping the door out of PVC. I was either going to be the door myself, and shaping it out of bent pvc.

And possibly having my girlfriend walk around like a pilot.

Any suggestions?
