Halloween // women's cartoon costume ideas

i'm trying to come up with costume ideas for a halloween party my boyfriend and i are throwing! i totally came up with the theme of cartoon characters too, but i'm completely stumped on a costume idea for myself 😅

characters from any cartoon tv show OR movie would work! preferably female characters but other characters that would be silly or super fun to recreate would work, and characters don't have to be human necessarily, animal characters are fine!

i would prefer characters to be pretty recognizable like main/recurring characters but more minor characters could work if they are unique or interesting! i have medium length black hair but ideas don't all need to keep that in mind because i'm open to wigs and can do whatever kind of makeup as well!

some ideas i've played with are: starfire from teen titans (not raven, a friend did that before), hex girl thorn from scooby doo (though this one pretty simple/kinda boring), vanellope von schweetz from wreck it ralph (superrrr cute but i think i kinda want something more adult maybe?), and mima from perfect blue (really cool to me but idk if anyone would get it 🥲)

so sorry if my expectations are confusing or ridiculous, i'm completely open to hearing any and all suggestions even if they don't fit all criteria, any kind of brainstorming help is greatly appreciated! i just wanna have fun with it and still look cute if possible, or say F it and go full insane/crazy/silly, we will have to see 🤣
