Halloween // Couples Costume But Kid Friendly

I work at a daycare and we host a Trunk or Treat every year. I‘m the organizer of it so I like to be extra with my costume. My fiancée also helps pass out candy so I would like to do a couples costume.

i have a couple constraints:

Kid friendly/recognizable. I work with babies and kids from 6 weeks up to 12yr olds, so something they would get.
Can easily match an easy to set up trunk decorations with. I would like the decorations and the costumes to have a theme.

Finally, we typically also end up going out to a bar or something for adult Halloween celebration so it would be nice if the costumes weren’t too “kiddish”
