Halloween // Mom, Dad, Toddler costume ideas

My cousin is having a big Halloween party for her 40th birthday this year and I’m trying to figure out a fun family costume. It’s been years since my husband and I actually dressed up so we’re looking to go all out (no farmers and a pig, or something that’s just a t-shirt - open to spending a decent amount of money and have 3 months to plan/create). Anyone have any really good costumes you’ve done in the past? We’re partial to pop culture/movies but open to anything fun and creative! I tried to sell my husband on Beetlejuice, Barbara and Lydia but he doesn’t want to deal with the mess of a full face of make up 🙄
