Halloween // is dorothy+glinda or elphaba+glinda a better duo costume?

my friend is strawberry blonde and recently acquired a pink tulle dress that, combined with a tall crown, would make a perfect glinda costume. I (brunette) thought it would be fun to dress as dorothy, but her first thought for me was elphaba. which would be a better costume set in your opinion?

my goals are 1) looking cute/hot and 2) being instantly recognized as the character. my concern with elphaba is nailing the skin—I don’t want to deal with face/body paint, and I feel like wearing a green long sleeved turtleneck and tights would kind of kill the sex appeal, even if it’s paired with a sexy little black dress.
