Halloween // Need advice

im planning to be a hyperrealistic bass (fish) for halloween this year and my partner is going to be a cute fisherman. this is a hilarious concept to me, im gonna get black contacts for those really beady eyes and paint my face really detailed.

im stuck on the actual costume though- i havent been able to find photorealistic fish scale material and im not sure where to go for that. it could just be printed on like a stretchy nylon or somethibg it doesn't need to be really fancy. does anyone have any ideas?
