Halloween // Help creating a slightly 'off' version of myself

Hi y'all! I'm usually not great at costumes but this year I had an idea: A weird, inhuman clone of myself.

I'm thinking contacts that give me a reptile/slit eye (I'm familiar with cosmetic contacts and I've worn them before). And since I usually wear T-shirts with logos or words, maybe a T-shirt with words on it that don't make any sense or that seems readable but doesn't actually mean anything.

Any more suggestions for this costume? I'm aiming for subtle but not that subtle, if that makes sense. I would wear this to school and maybe handing out candy at home.

Also if I knew how to do makeup I'd probably try to make myself paler or less human, but I'm pretty hopeless with makeup so any tips there for easy ideas would be appreciated.
