Halloween // Brainstorm cryptid-related costumes?

My girlfriend and I are going to this party that has a different theme every year. We always like to match our costumes to the theme.

This year, it’s cryptid-themed. It’s described as a “monstrous party” where “invited guests include Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster, Jersey Devil, Yeti, Chupacabra, Yokai, and more!”

We tend to gravitate towards costumes from movies & TV, but we’re open to whatever. We probably want to avoid dressing as animals themselves though. Thank you for your help.
