Halloween // As a white male, is it okay for me to dress as a black character

After loving across the spider verse and Miles quickly becoming probably my favourite spiderman on the big screen, I considered that could be a cool idea for Halloween and I already have lots of items that would go well together for it. However, there is the obvious elephant in the room, I'm white and Miles is not, when it comes to Halloween is this an issue I should be wary of or is it just about having fun and dressing how you want?
