Halloween // Voodoo dolls for trick or treaters?

I've been gifted several bags of craft felt and stuffing and I have been thinking of making cute little voodoo dolls to put in this years trick or treat bags.

Issue is, my boyfriend thinks that it is weird and said that many parents will have preconceived ideas and will not want it in their house or think it's not appropriate for a child.

I'm from the UK and nobody in my neighbourhood seems particularly religious or spiritual that I know (other than the priest 3 doors down who locks his door and shouts about Satanists to any child who dares to knock on on Halloween) so I don't see the harm in it.

I would also make little bats, Frankenstiens monsters, pumpkins ect.

So what do you think, yay or nay to the voodoo dolls?
