Halloween // 12 ft Skelton Not Working

I was finally able to get my hands on one of the Home Depot 12 ft. skeletons. To say I was excited is an understatement. My partner and I got it all put together and up aaaand the eyes won't work. I could be blind, but it didn't seem to have any stickers over the eyes to remove like the instructions said to. They eyes also looked a bit scratched up to us. Has anyone else that got one have any problems like this? I have tried to search online but can't seem to find anything.
