Halloween // How can I be the best house in the neighbourhood?

I’m 14 and I absolutely adore Halloween, It’s my birthday on the 20th and around that time I usually start prepping my display and costume. This year I’m not sure if I’m gonna be trick or treating but I still wanna be a memorable part of other people’s Halloween’s. I’m gonna wear my Jason part 6 cosplay to answer the door so I have that put together already. I wanna be THAT house with the best candy, how can I signify that I mean business? What candy should I get? What did you love getting as a kid? Thank you for any suggestions.
