Halloween // Prop question

So every year recently ive been increasingly making my mad max/post apocalypse costumes better and better, last year i introduced a ballistic helmet and a homemade ballistic plate that i took to a gun range and shot at to make it look used. This year i kinda want to have a few fake pipe bombs on a bandolier or some such. Not too many people here do halloween too seriously and would like to ask for a more generally halloweener take on my predicament since i dont exactly want to be arrested for the suspection of having a destructive device on me.
