A few years ago, a neighbor gave us their old Crypt Keeper. They said that it hadn't worked in years and the legs were hanging off. We just set it out as a static prop. Last night, I decided to take it apart to see if it could be repaired and I found that the speaker still works - it just needs an external sound source. I plugged in my phone and boom. Apparently, it came with a cassette player and a couple of cassettes back in the day with records by the original voice actor. Turns out that someone has posted the recording to YouTube so I can put them on a cheap MP3 player. Also, the motor that turns the head still works, there is just some stiction from worn parts and should be a pretty easy fix.
Anyway, I went online to see if I could find a manual to identify one of the plugs hanging off it - probably an input sensor - and found that one sold less than a month ago for $2000! Holy heck! So, obviously, I'm now doing a complete restore now!

Hey, Mods - we need a Brag flair! ;-) Or, at least, a Props tag.
