Halloween // Halloween mask question

Gonna be Michael Myers this Halloween, and I just got the mask. Problem is, I have hair down a little past my shoulders and don't wanna cut it just for one night, but when I put it in a bun, there's a giant, ridiculous lump in the back. Anyone with long hair worn a masked costume for Halloween? How did you deal?
