So for my birthday this year my mom has offered to split the cost with me for the Ferry of the Dead from Home Depot (my favorite decoration from this year). Before I say yes to spending so much money on a single decoration, I'd like to figure out how to decorate my yard around it. Any ideas?
I've got a very small front porch on one side, then a raised stone flower bed that runs the length of the house then the driveway. There's is a cement walkway in front of the flower bed connecting the porch to the driveway. I'm thinking the ferry will fit between the flower bed and the porch (there's maybe a 5 foot by 6 foot flat spot between them). I have a smoke machine that'll work well in that spot too, but that's all I've got so far. What else could I add along the walkway or in the flower bed to help accent or match the ferry?
I own a big cauldron, an inflatable dragon, and lots of foam tombstones, but that's about it for outdoor decorations.
