Halloween // Accidentally destroyed Michael Myers mask and wasted 70 dollars in the process

Drove to Spirit Halloween this morning because it was the first day one was open in my area. For years, I had been eyeing this 70 dollar Michael Myers mask that I wanted to add to my collection. Figured that since the new Halloween Kills movie was coming out, this was the perfect time to get it. I bought it and it looked super cool. I love the paint job on it, looks exactly like the model used in the film. Anyways, I tried it on when I got home and realized I forgot to take into account that I had a fairly large head. I made the mistake of pulling on the lower front part of the mask while cramming it onto my big head. It was pulling my hair and I was tugging on the mask pretty hard. Before I knew it, the entire bottom half of the mask below the mouth completely ripped off. I was furious and checked Spirit Halloween’s return policy on their website. They only accept masks that haven’t been worn and are in resellable condition. I blew 70 dollars on that mask and it’s probably the most money I’ve ever wasted in my life. I’m scared to buy another Halloween mask again after this experience.
