I have the Winfield plans for their Christmas Ferris wheel and am trying to make it do double duty for Halloween/Christmas. Watching lots of YouTube videos leads me to believe the motor they recommend isn’t strong enough for the build.
I have a tarp motor for a dump truck and was thinking of using that instead. I know those run on the truck’s battery, but would a motor of this size work with an ac/dc adapter? Or if not, one of those batteries for kids PowerWheels cars?
I haven’t used motors in my props before (apart from my drill-powered Axworthy ghost fail that I’m not emotionally ready to talk about yet) but I feel like this could work?
