A couple of weeks ago I posted asking if using a plastic Olaf toy would be suitable as a base for a local Creepy Doll contest. Turns out, it was and I won 2nd place!!
I took off his teeth and buttons and covered him in liquid latex and gauze, then painted like 20different layers of paint trying to figure out a spooky color, sadly I never got the look I was going for but c'est la vie. The teeth in his mouth are resin, and the teeth in his hands are from my friends wisdom teeth. The other arm got replaced with a dentist mirror. The eyes were doll eyes glued on top to make them bug out more.
For anyone debating on entering a creepy doll contest, go for it. This was my first time, and I was so nervous it wouldn't be creepy or doll enough. There was such a range of dolls entered and it was a lot of fun.
