I don't know if anyone else on this sub feels this way, but I just feel bummed out that I don't have any IRL friends that I would be able to share my affection for Halloween with. I do know some people I used to hang out with who might, but they've moved away or got married and now are entirely focused on their new baby, their new house, et cetera. I feel like obviously with COVID we're all isolated, but even before COVID I was struggling with that because just regular life stuff made it hard to find friends who are nearby and want to do fun stuff with me. YouTube recommended some random video to me the other day, it was a quirky goth woman going shopping for Halloween stuff, and it was honestly the most boring video, but I was kind of soaking it up and then I realized it was because I wish I had a buddy to go shopping with, but I don't. She doesn't have to be goth, though that would be fun too... she just needs to enjoy the idea of Halloween enough to be excited about it showing up in stores. Why is this so hard? But somehow, it is. Anyways, thanks for reading, if you have read this far I appreciate it.
