Halloween // Silly question

Hi! Maybe this is the wrong place to post this but I'll give it a shot! I love halloween and its aesthetics, I dress halloweeny everyday and I love Buffy the vampireslayer, Angel, tim burton movies, etc. I listen to alot of spooky music, I love pumpkins, bats, skeletons, etc. But I have a problem, people always assume that I like "real" horror movies due to this, but I really don't. I love silly/cartoon horror aesthetics but I cant stand the real new ones, they just make me way too anxious :( Am I a halloweencore-poser or is it totally fine to embrace the childish/sillier side of halloween?
