Halloween // When the Halloween Parade is cancelled..

Can I say how disappointed I am that the NYC Halloween Parade is cancelled this year? We were planning our costumes for the parade 9 months in advance. I had a friend flying in from the EU just to visit the city and to be in the parade with us, because he loves Halloween. We were going to get a hotel room in the city so we'd have a place to get into costume and make-up and sleep after the parade and festivities were done. Halloween was on a weekend this year, too, and I had off from work.

Then came covid.
