Halloween // When do y’all start decorating?

Let me start by saying to the moderators if this kind of thread isn’t allowed or is redundant, apologies in advance!

I’ve been thinking a lot about decorating for Halloween the past couple of days and I was wondering, for you all, when is the best time to start decorating? I live alone in a studio apartment so is only be decorating the inside and, considering how awful this year has been, I’m thinking of buying things now and getting set up starting September 1st. What about you all? I think I’m just really hyped to put some purple bat lights over my bed like I had growing up 😆
