Okay quick explanation to my question here. My sister and I live together. We love making kids happy on holidays and we shine during trick or treat as the must go house in our village (we don’t do a candy bucket so much as a party favor bag for each trick or treater) and usually get between 45 and 60 visitors and prep around 75 bags giving the rest to coworkers with kids the next day. Typically we spend the year planning them out starting around thanksgiving and pre-buy the contents out of season to get good rates and discounts. This year we didn’t have the time to plan them like we usually do (after Co-Vid our jobs went into overdrive and we had to step up as first responders to fill that need).
So we are feeling the time crunch since it’s almost September plus are working with about half our typical budget to set these up since everything is starting to go back in season. Our usual bags are a few party favors buried under a mountain of mixed mini chocolate and hard candies. This year we weren’t able to pre-buy and are thinking of trying a different route. So here is our idea, and we would love anyone’s opinion on if you think kids will love it and we won’t make enemies of parents or do we need to return to the drawing board: bear in mind all items are Halloween themed 1 pencil 1 pencil topper eraser 1 sheet of 12 stickers 1 small pre-inked stamper with cap 1 child safe pencil sharpener with cap over blade 2 slap wrist bracelets 1 full sized Hershey’s chocolate bar 1 blow pop sucker 1 tootsie pop sucker
And each “bag” will be packed in a Halloween themed party favor box that folds together.
Please let me know if you think kids will enjoy them and any other opinions or thoughts. Thanks!
