Halloween // Has Halloween seemed a bit... Too profitized to you?

For the past half a decade, its seemed everything Halloween has become so commercial that products have sunk in quality, spirit, and even atmosphere. From what I remember, as late as even 2010, when Halloween candies were marketed through major company products, there at least was more effort.

Now it seems the candy aisle is less eyeballs, blood bags, skeleton bones, ghouls, brain jellies, etc. And more just.. Plain old chocolate bars. Its hard to even find those individual fun candies instead of 300 varieties of the same major mixed bags of different chocolate bar brands.

While theres been some cool additions to decorations with projectors and so on, I can't really say much exciting new Halloween based innovations I've seen have been any more than incredibly minor. Its like as little work as possible is going into Halloween themed anything in exchange for easy cash off of tradition.

Maybe I'm looking through rose-tinted glasses, but, I don't know... It just feels like its much less magic and fun, and much more mainstreamed, forcefed options with no real draw other than being the only options.
