Halloween // I'd like to learn more about Halloween folklore/legends/customs

I'm looking for books, films and documentaries about Halloween though history. I'm interested in learning about the holiday during the ancient times, the middle ages and the 18th-19th century. I'd like to read some novels or stories as well, as long as they're set before the 20th century.
