Halloween // Haunted House Acting Recommendations?

Hello! I am volunteering at a haunted house this October and I was told today that I will be placed in the front as the toy store clerk. The main theme is haunted toy store, so I feel like it’s pretty important. I will be moving a wall and taking the guests into an elevator, but I am curious how I should act? What would you guys like to see?

I am thinking either over the top crazy, or totally monotone “I hate my job” type? Any advice would be great :) thanks!
