Halloween // Brainstorming activities for dinner in the woods, all help appreciated.

So after practically skipping the holiday last year for personal reasons, I wanted to come back this year with a bang and out-do my previous celebrations. I, with the help of a few close friends, plan on throwing a woodland dinner party on Halloween this year.

What we have planned so far:

- All guests will be instructed to meet at a local carpool area, where they will be blindfolded and shuttled about fifteen minutes away. We will arrive in the middle of the woods and they guests will be led to the site, about a ten minute walk, by torchlight.

- The dinner site is a a beautifully cleared area on the edge of a very murky lake. I have an electric generator that will help us with lighting and anything we need to keep the food warm.

-We will have a campfire, and time to just mingle and have fun, and the original shuttle drivers will be responsible for bringing people back.

Ideas we've been throwing around:

-Possibly giving everyone masks, either black, or animal themed.

-Our group is REALLY into roleplay and us organizers really want to get into it to bring the right creepy atmosphere for our friends. We are leaning towards some sort of game or activity that can be explained once everyone arrives, and possibly plays off some sort of ritual theme. Lke a cult dinner maybe? I keep coming back to murder mystery games but they dont quite feel right. I'm having issues figuring out exactly what it should all entail though.
